Joe’s Channel Viewer is a simple utility plugin which can display the channels that make up a video image. The result can be used a a visual effect, debugging or forensic analysis tool.
Channels can be displayed 1-up or 4-up.

Adjustment Controls
- Output (All Channels (4-up), Alpha, Luma (Y)/R, Cr (U)/Green, Cb (U)/Blue)
- Selects the output channel or set of channels.
- Show Colors
- Displays the output channels in their actual colors.
- RGB or YUV (kFormatRGB219, kFormatRGB255, kFormat219)
- The color space of the channels to display
Using the Beta Plugins
Use the download link on any page to get the latest set, including all current beta plugins. Registered users can test the beta tools without watermarks.
Betas are being developed and tested using FCP 5.1. Feedback is helpful and encouraged, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to support for previous versions of FCP and FCE.
